Piston type accumulator is a type of hydraulic isolated accumulator, which is an important auxiliary component in hydraulic systems. It plays a significant role in auxiliary power supply, absorbing pulsation, reducing noise, emergency power source, absorbing hydraulic shock, and other aspects.

  2. Working principle

The working principle of piston type accumulator is the same as that of liquid gas isolated accumulator, mainly utilizing the compressibility of gas and liquid. When the pressure is high, the pressure of the liquid is converted into internal energy of the gas, and when the pressure drops, the internal energy of the gas is released to do work externally. Among them, the piston type accumulator uses a piston to separate gas and liquid. Due to the sealed relationship between the piston and the inner wall of the cylindrical accumulator, the possibility of liquid oxidation is reduced.

  4. Internal structure and external dimensions

The structure of a piston type accumulator mainly consists of three main bodies: a piston (made of cast iron, forged steel, cast steel, or aluminum alloy), a cylinder tube, and an end cap (oil port end and nitrogen gas end). There are oil side connecting flanges and gas side connecting flanges fixed at both ends of the cylinder tube. There are oil holes on the oil side connecting flange, and inflation nozzles on the gas side connecting flange. There is a one-way valve at each end of the piston, and there are guide grooves, oil storage tanks, sealing grooves, gas storage tanks, and guide grooves along the axial direction.
